How To Install Latest Moshell | Easy Step Install Moshell 19.0c | Linux


- Installation for Unix (Solaris/Linux)

Prerequisite: Java Run-Time Environment 1.2.2 or higher must be installed on the
workstation.

Use this link Java 1.2.2

Put the moshellxxx.zip on /tmp and unzip it.

Link download      Moshell 11.0b
                                Moshell 18.0m
                                Moshell 19.0c

Then run the install script:

Moshell
cd /tmp
unzip -o moshellxxx.zip
bash moshell_install

Moshell contains an automated upgrade engine. When prompted to enter the directory where you want to install moshell, it is recommended to enter the same directory as the previous revision of moshell. The automated upgrade engine will take care of copying all your custom files (jar/xml files, site files, etc.) across to the new revision. For your safety the old revision gets moved to a different location so you can still access it if needed.

To run moshell, type moshell <ip-address> on the command line.
If the required jar files are not on the workstation, they will be fetched automatically from
the node.

That’s it. :)

      Kayaknya itu missing gawk / awk makanya ngga kebaca. Reinstall pastikan gawk include di checklist.
      Coba check di http://cygwin.com/packages/ dan cari "bin/gawk".

    For G2 Hardware, like Baseband 52xx, you may take RSSI measure with this command: " pmxet fdd interferencepwr$ ".
    Hope you´ll find this usefull.
    And keep updating Moshell versions please, that´s helping us a lot.

      Yes I know, but when you already have a running script on it(e.g Q20,c4 upgrade package) you don't get the option to restore the board to factory reset again as with upgrade package Q17 or 18.

      So am searching for another way to restore the board to factory reset to enable me load back site backup.

      64bit installation steps same as 32bit. Just install cygwin 64bit first then new moshell. Very easy.
